October 28, 2010A PERFECT CIRCLE performed on last night's (Wednesday, October 27) edition of ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". The band played the song "Weak And Powerless" as well as a cover version of JOHN LENNON's "Imagine". Watch video footage of the performance below.
A PERFECT CIRCLE will hit theaters in five cities this November, with each city save one getting a three-night stand. The band will play each of its three studio albums — "Mer De Noms", "Thirteenth Step" and "eMOTIVe" — on a different night.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Keenan said about the decision to play small venues, "There's no way we're going to sell out arenas. We haven't been around for six years . . . These shows are going to be very small intimate theater gigs, basically just the five of us trying to connect with each other."
The cities the band will hit on this run are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and Las Vegas. The group will play just two nights in Vegas, dropping the eMOTIVe performance.
The 2010 lineup of A PERFECT CIRCLE will include Keenan, Howerdel, drummer Josh Freese, former SMASHING PUMPKINS guitarist James Iha and bassist Matt McJunkins.
Keenan said that former members Paz Lenchantin, Jeordie White and Troy Van Leeuwen have been invited to stop by the shows and play on a couple of songs.
A PERFECT CIRCLE currently does not have a record deal.
